Too much snow causes chaos on the MPLR…
The past few days have seen more snow fall than since records began on the MPLR. These pictures were taken early in the morning by Reserve Manager Bill Goodie
Well that’s not going to get cleared by shovel and wheelbarrow! Staff is questioning the Fat controller as to why a snowplough has still not been purchased!
Moreton Pit Station was literally snowed under last Sunday and no trains will be able to run until the big thaw starts!
Mind you this has enabled some people to take the opportunity to enjoy themselves! At least one man is waiting on the platform! I wonder who made that!
